Welcome!
North Orange County Children's Choir was established in 1989,
and changed its name in 2005 to New Orange County Children's Choir (NOCCC).
NOCCC is a state registered, non-profit organization, with the goals of providing learning and
performing opportunities as well as promoting artistic appreciation of choral singing among all children.
The choir has over 150 members of ages ranging from 6 to 16 years.
These members reside in areas throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Our devoted choir members rehearse every
Friday evening at the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Irvine. It is our ultimate dream that,
through this progressive training program, all members will enjoy a fun-filled musical childhood
and continue their choral singing in the future.
NOCCC has performed at various locations around Orange County with highlight
performances taking place at Richard Nixon Library, Irvine Barclay Theatre,
and the City of Irvine 35th Anniversary.
The 21st Annual Concert, a grand finale showcasing all our members' progress, has been scheduled in June 2010
at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. Generous financial support from our sponsors allows us
to perform in many special choral concerts and hold seasonal gatherings such as picnics,
talent shows, holiday parties, and family concerts, as well as music camps for our more advanced groups.
For more than twenty years now, the professional guidance of our music directors and teachers,
unconditional support of our sponsors, devoted involvement of our parents, and ardent spirit
of our members have enabled us to advance closer and closer towards our goals. We welcome you to join us,
and make our adventure yours too.
